Illustration for Google’s Self-Driving Car

My illustration was one of ten chosen out of several hundred to be displayed on a Google self-driving car for their Paint the Town contest in the summer of 2015. Google opened the contest to all California residents and asked them to submit their original artwork influenced by their community and neighborhood.
I selected some of my favorite photographs that I had taken at the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge in Fremont and illustrated them using Adobe Illustrator. I consider the bay area wetlands to be one of our most overlooked neighbors and a vital part of the ecosystem.
